BALDWIN LAKE FIRE
Welcome to the Baldwin Lake Volunteer Fire Departments web-site. We are an IRS qualified 501c4 organization. Donations made to our department are fully tax deductible for both federal and state purposes.
Our 40 volunteer Firefighters thank you for your support. We serve the entire Baldwin Lake area and provide mutual aid to other Big Bear and San Bernardino fire agencies. Last year we became Station 97 in the system for San Bernardino County Fire Department, who took over the dispatching of all our fire calls. Should you need to reach us in an emergency, simply dial 911 and the County Dispatcher will direct your emergency to us.
If you are interested about our volunteers, each one has graduated from a State of California State Fire Marshall's fire academy. All have at least their "Paid-Call" certification, all are American Heart Association First Responder trained in CPR and First Aid. We have twelve of our Firefighters who have been Nationally Certified as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). The skills they bring to our local Baldwin Lake community enhances both our fire protection and also the protection of the lives and well being of all of our residents.
As most of you have experienced, Baldwin Lake has had an extremely rapid growth over the last few years. This growth has translated into increased call volumes at Baldwin Lake Fire. We continue to obtain new equipment and have provided all of our services to the local community at no costs to the residents of Baldwin Lake. We anticipate that we will continue to provide these vital services at no cost, but we do need help with the daily costs of gas and maintenance of our equipment. If you would like to make a donation to the department, see the donations page .
We look forward to continuing our service to the local community, and gladly respond t to any needs or comments you might have about us and our services. Please feel free to contact us at anytime.
